PURPOSE:To reduce the ralative displacement of a pedestal and a building in earth-quake by providing laminated rubber and a clearance adjustor on an end and left and right sides of a bracket projecting horizontally from the outer wall of a turbine pedestal. CONSTITUTION:A turbine building 1 and a turbine pedestal 3 are independently provided except in the base portions, and a bracket 11 projecting horizontally from the outer wall of the pedestal 3 is provided. The bracket 11 is provided on the end face and left and right side surfaces with laminated rubber 12a-12c and clearance adjusters 13a-13c provided on the respective end of said rubber. Thus, between the pedestal 3 and a building floor slab 6 is formed a fine gap so that the relative displacement of the pedestal 3 and the building 1 in earth- quake by utilizing the damper effect of the laminated rubber is reduced. |
