PURPOSE:To prevent the surface of the same document and the reverse surface of a different document from being copied by mistake by giving indication marks to respective top and reverse surfaces of documents, and photographing them on a microphotographic film so that respective indications adjoin to one another. CONSTITUTION:A tool 30 for photography is formed by joining plastic sheets 10 and 20 together at one end and then joining a joint piece 60 made of a plastic sheet to the center part of the joint end, and indication marks 70 in an arrow shape are printed on the joint piece 60 with, for example, black ink. Then, top surfaces 40A, 40'A, and 40''A of checks 40, 40', and 40'' and an indication mark 70 are photographed by a camera in the 1st frame of the microfilm and then the tool 30 is turned over to photograph checks 40B, 40'B, and 40''B and an indication mark 70 in the 2nd frame. Further, similar operation is repeated for other checks 50, 50', and 50''. Thus, the photographing process is performed and images are projected on a screen, thereby discriminating between the top and reverse surfaces of a document and whether images belong to the same document or not from the directions and positions of marks 70.
