PURPOSE:To prevent mixing of atmosphere gases between furnaces and to transfer steplessly a article to be treated by using one piece of circulating mesh belt as a transfer means of said article passing through connected horizontal and hump type treating furnaces having a different atmosphere and preventing the rising of belt at this connected part of both furnaces. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd treating furnaces 5, 8 are respectively supplied with air or exothermic gases N2, H2 or both mixed gas from atmosphere inlets 11, 10. The article to be treated is heated for removing adhered matters of oil, etc. inside the furnace 5, then heated in nonoxidizing state inside the furnace 8 and taken out after cooling in a cooling chamber 9. Now due to the furnace 5 being horizontal and the furnace 8 being hump type, a vapor, etc. generated inside the furnace 5 does not enter the furnace 8 owing to the difference in specific gravity even if invaded in the entrance of the furnace 8. Also one piece of mesh belt 1 is driven by a device 2 and a supplementary belt 3 driven with a device 4 synchronized therewith and vertical motions 1', 1 at the part A of the belt 1 are detected by detectors 6, 7. These are sent by signals from transmitters 16, 17 to increase or decrease the speed of the belt 3 and a speed change gear 4' respectively, and the vertical motions 1', 1 are stabilized. |
