发明名称 LOW HYDROGEN TYPE COATED ARC WELDING ELECTRODE
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a titled electrode with which stable low-temp. toughness is obtd. even in welding with high heat input and the excellent weldability can be obtd. by using a flux-cored wire filled therein with metallic powder and iron alloy powder having a low N content. CONSTITUTION:The flux-cored wire formed by filling the metallic powder or iron alloy powder having <=2.7 specific total N content or both thereof in a carbon steel pipe having no aperture in the longitudinal direction at 7-40wt% by the weight of the carbon steel pipe is used for the arc welding electrode. Such core wire is coated circumferentially with the coating material consisting of 35-80wt% metallic carbonate, 3-35% metallic fluoride and the balance a slag forming agent except the above-described metallic carbonate and metallic fluoride, an arc stabilizing agent and binder. The above-described total N content is designated to be the total sum of the product of the N content (wt%) NM in each metallic powder and iron alloy powder in the filler and the rate (wt%) alphaM of the metallic powder and iron alloy powder to be added into the filler, i.e., SIGMA(NMXalphaM).
