PURPOSE:To obtain a tire free from longitudinal vibration and external diameter expansion by a method wherein a ply is deformed in a toroidal shape to be stuck to a band and to be turned up as the formed band gripped by a gripper is arranged around an endless ply. CONSTITUTION:An endless ply P is provided around the forming drum 2, and the gripper 31 gripping the outer circumference of a formed ringed band B is moved to locate the band B on the circumference of the ply P. Then, gripping the band B by the static gripper 31 fluid is supplied into a central bladder 5 to deform the ply P in toroidal shape and to stick the ply to the band B, further, fluid is supplied into the outside and the inside bladder 6, 7 to turn up by a bead ring 13 the ply P that is outside in the axial direction. In this manner, an unvulcanized tire free from strain or central deviation is obtained and transferred to vulcanization process. Thereby, a tire very free from longitudinal vibration and external diameter expansion can be obtained. |
