PURPOSE:To permit removing and replacing a sealing member easily and quickly by pressing the sealing member from inside by a ringed retainer which is contractible in diameter and is engageable with a protrusion and a groove of the valve body. CONSTITUTION:A first stepped part 11 is provided on the outer surface of the valve body 3 for installing a seat ring 5, and the inner circumferential wall 12 of said stepped part has an inclined part 13 corresponding to the outer inclined part 9 of the seat ring 5. The valve body 3 also is provided with a second stepped part 17 on the axial inner wall 14 of the stepped part which has a circumferential engaging protrusion 15 and a groove 16 on the inner circumference. A ringed retainer 18 for installing the seat ring 5 is inserted in said stepped part 17. Part of the retainer 18 is cut obliquely for contractibility. |
