<p>Two- and three-wheeled amphibious vehicle. It consists of a frame or framework 1 with an upper projection 5 for mounting the axle of the sprocket 7 and pedals 8 out of the water. On both sides of the front 10 and rear 11 wheels are rigid or inflatable floats (buoys) 9 secured to the forks 13 with the possibility of being detached. On the rear wheel or wheels of the vehicle are mounted transverse paddles 16 as propulsion element when travelling over water, which paddles, which may have the form of an oar 20, remain fastened to the radii (spokes) 43 or to the rim 44 of the actual rear wheel 11. The sprocket 7 and actuating pedals 22 may be arranged in the top part of the handlebars, it being possible to actuate them manually and by means of suitable transmissions to the axle of the rear wheel, being suitable for use by persons suffering from lower-limb disabilities.</p> |
