<p>The patent of invention to which this description relates is designed to protect the use and exclusive ownership throughout national territory of a process for modifying a sepiolite mineral by treatment with polysaccharides with the objective of obtaining advantages in the use of the said sepiolite in industry, and more specifically its use in the composition of granular detergents. These granular materials comprise a) an anionic or non- ionic surfactant, b) an organic or inorganic coadjuvant, and c) sepiolite or sepiolite mineral organically modified with polysaccharides. The incorporation of these clays, the novel feature of which represents an obvious and substantial improvement, produces detergents having economic advantages and superior properties to those which do not contain them.</p> |
