PURPOSE:To make timing of index steady and to read outputs by providing a controlling section to keep slanting to opposite direction to the direction of rotation of a driving pin supported by a spring. CONSTITUTION:The mechanism consists of a magnet 3 that attracts a hub 9 at the center of a magnetic sheet 8 to a hub face 2, a hub holding stand 4 and a driving pin 5 fixed to a leaf spring 6 on the lower face. When driving, the pin 5 tends to fall down in the direction opposite to clockwise rotation of the holding stand 4. However, the quantity of slanting at the position is kept constant by the controlling section 12. Accordingly, adjusting can be made at the same slanting at the time of index timing. Therefore, subsequent variations of index are eliminated and stable reading of output can be made at all times.
