Film and slide projection system

In order to render universally applicable a film and slide projection system having a plurality of projectors which can be operated against a common projection surface simultaneously or in a mutually alternating fashion, selectively insertable polarisers are arranged between the lenses of at least two projectors and the projection surface. It is therefore possible in conjunction with two interconnected projectors optionally to present for viewing a stereo image which is viewed by means of polarisation spectacles, or else it is also possible to achieve additional projection effects by folding out or drawing out one or both polarisation filters. Dissolves, multi- vision effects or motions are thus possible in a flowing, and also two- as well as three-dimensional fashion.
