A disc-shaped body (4) with a vertical axis (20) is arranged in a housing and has on its surface a depression in the form of a hollow cone (7). A cone (4) which is fixed at the top of the housing (2) projects into the hollow cone (7) and its axis (21) is inclined with respect to that of the hollow cone (7) in such a way that a grinding zone (18) is formed between the two outer surfaces of the cone (4) and of the hollow cone (7), which zone has a bent, horn-shaped entry angle and thus permits, in addition to the breaking of the material, the material to be ground since even if the material has a low coefficient of friction it can then be satisfactorily gripped. The upper cone (4) can be adjusted in such a way that the grinding zone (18) can have parallel outer lines in axial section or outer lines which run together at an acute angle, it being possible for the acute angle to lie in the base region or in the region of the tips of the cone (8) and of the hollow cone (7) which are driven in the same direction of rotation. <IMAGE> |
