<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a TV receiver which can be connected to a video device having variation of the time base or drop-out such as a VTR or the like, by providing an A/D converter which samples an input signal with two-fold frequency of the sampling frequency of the MUSE system. CONSTITUTION:The high definition television signal of transmitted in the MUSE system is inputted from the first input terminal 1 and is sampled and quantized by the first A/D converter 2. The input signal is supplied to a frame memory 6 after digital noise elimination in a noise reducer 4. Thus, two-frame components of signals having two-fold frequency of the sampling frequency of the MUSE system are stored in the frame memory 6, and signals of the just preceding frame and signals of two frames before whose motions are corrected are read out alternately as the output. Inter-frame differences are operated by the first and the second motion detectors 7 and 9, and larger one of these differences between two frames is selected and is applied to a mixer 14 to perform the interpolation processing.</p> |
