PURPOSE:To prevent surely a magnetic head cap from coming off out of a magnetic hed by the vibration produced during transportation, by pressing elastically a tape guide with the fringe part of a through-hole when the cap is fitted to the head. CONSTITUTION:An insertion hole 4a containing notches 4b and 4c and a fringe part 4d is formed at an end of a protection cap 4. The part 4d has an acute section, and the cap 4 is made entirely of a synthetic resin having elasticity, etc. The inside measure (l) of the hole 4a is set smaller than the thickness (m) of a tape guide 3. When the cap 4 is fitted to a silide surface 2a, the part 4d is deformed to press guide arms 3a and 3b with its elastic power. This prevents surely such a case where the cap 4 is detached from a magnetic head 2 by the vibration produced during transporation. |
