PURPOSE:To realize an optical disk of wide range of use for which various ways of use are conceivable by providing recording belts on both faces and making recording characteristic different between one face and another face. CONSTITUTION:Thin filmy recording layers 2, 3 are provided on a substrate 1 through an adhesive 4, and the recording layers 2, 3 are made different in recording characteristic. There are three kinds of recording belts different in recording characteristic, i.e. a recording belt that can reproduce only signals recorded at the time of manufacturing the disk, a recording belt that can make only reproduction of record of signals and a recording belt that can make record reproduction, erasing and rewriting of signals. One of these recording belts is provided on one face, and one of other two recording belts is provided on another face. Thus, the optical disk of wide range of use and various ways of use are conceivable can be realized. |
