PURPOSE:To prevent decrease of density of picture image or generation of blotting, etc. by providing a recording layer contg. an insulative resin and pigment particles which have been treated with a titanate coupling agent on an electroconductive substrate and forming an electrostatic recording body. CONSTITUTION:An electroconductive layer 2 is provided on the surface of a substrate such as common paper, transparent paper, film of polyester, etc., or synthetic paper, etc. and a recording layer 3 contg. the insulative resin 4 and pigment particles 5 which have been treated with a titanate coupling agent is further provided to form thus an electrostatic recording body. A polymer electrolyte such as polyvinyl benzyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, is used for the electroconductive layer 2, and polyvinyl acetate, polyvinyl chloride, etc. is used for the insulative resin. Clay, talc, kaolin, etc. are cited as the pigment, and isopropyl triisostearoyl titanate is given as an example for the titanate coupling agent. |
