<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of a minute flow rate and to enhance the removal ratio of BOD, by using the flow rate control float directly connected to a float type contact filter bed. CONSTITUTION:Sewage flowed into the digestion chamber 33 of a purification tank 31 through an inflow pipe 35 is transferred to a preparatory filter tank 38 where various bacteria groups are propagated actively by a special member 37 comprising a porous substance. The sewage filtered in the preparatory filter tank 38 is stored in a conditioning storage tank 34 to enhance sedimentation and separation effect and a float type contact filter bed 40 is moved up and down by the increase and decrease in inflow water to absorb the variation thereof. The liquid level of a cylinder 39 is raised from the under surface of the float type filter bed 40 under the own wt. of said filter bed 40 and the sewage is sent to the bypass passage of the filter bed 40 by utilizing this head. The sewage is set to a constant speed in the bypass passage to make the contact degree with the contact material constant and the decomposition activity of the sewage is enhanced.</p> |
