PURPOSE:To attain color correction with high accuracy and high speed by registering the result of multiplication between a color separation signal and a coefficient into a memory in advance as a table, reading the registered data in response to the inputted color separation signal and adding sequentially the data. CONSTITUTION:The color separation signal RGB of a color original picture is inputted to latch circuits 10R-10B. Each latched data is selected in order by a data selector 11 controlled by a control circuit 12 and becomes an address signal DR accessing the table 13. The result of multiplication between the signal RGB and the coefficient in response to respective level of the signal is stored in advance in the table 13. Each data read from the table 13 is latched in order by latch circuits 14R-14G. The data are added by adders 15, 16 and inputted to a latch circuit 17.
