PURPOSE:To produce easily a miniature oscillator with a low cost, by fixing a tuning fork type quartz oscillator directly at an end of a lead pin piercing through the inside and outside of a case. CONSTITUTION:Two holes 28 and 29 are drilled to a quartz oscillator 27, and pins 31 and 32 protruding into a case are inserted into the holes 28 and 29 via a hermetic seal 30. These pins are bonded to fixed electrode parts 33 and 34 of the oscillator 27 by means of an adhesive of the alloy solder, etc. At the same time, the conduction is secured for the pins 31 and 32. The overflow of solder is completely prevented since a slit 27a is provided between electrodes 33, 34 and exciting electrode parts 33a, 34a. In such way, a miniature and highly accurate tuning fork type quartz oscillator is obtained. |
