A staple hammer has a magazine (22) and a handle part (10) pivotally connected to each other with a shaft journal (20) and is spring-loaded in a direction opposing each other with the help of a spring package (13). The side of the magazine turned toward the handle is covered with a lid (28) that is removable in order to enable the entire upper side of the magazine to be uncovered and for the magazine to be cleaned. The lid is attached by hinges (25) to the magazine and is bowed outward at its rear end, so that it can be swung toward the magazine for disconnecting the shaft journal (20) for freeing the staple hammer magazine and handle part. The magazine feeder rod (35) is, for avoiding injuries on the back of the stapler, connected with the feeder's feeder rod holder (34) by means of a tightly wound helical spring (36).<IMAGE> |
