PURPOSE:To enable the execution of an alarm function and a calender display function while preventing misdisplay of the calendar by providing a hand display switching function. CONSTITUTION:This is equipped with a motor 10 drivable both forward and backward, a wheel train 16, a hand 1, a calendar display member 2 comprising a day plate adapted to operate by a driving force from the wheel train and a pointer display switching means which switches the hand 1 between the current time display state and the alarm set time display state by a fast driving of the motor 10. This pointer display switching means judges the direction of quickly running the hand based on the relative difference between the current time and the alarm set time when the display is switched between both the time and memorizes the results of the judgement. When the coincidence with the current time is detected during the correction of the alarm set time, it memorizes the corresponding direction of running the hand and determines the direction of quick running the hand 1 according to the memory contents for the return to the current time display state. |
