PURPOSE:To improve the safety by displaying a picture of a television broadcast through the detection of a car parking by means of parking detecting means. CONSTITUTION:In selecting a parking brake bar from a running position (a) to a parking position (b), a contact of a display switch 13 is closed and a power supply voltage +B is outputted to a terminal PKB. Thus, when a shift position lever 10 is set to the position of parking P and the parking brake lever 12 is selected to the parking position (b), an output of an AND circuit 14 goes to a high level, a transistor of a drive circuit 15 is conducted, a contact of a changeover circuit 3 is closed and the picture of a television broadcast is displayed on a picture tube 5. When an output of the AND circuit 14 is at a low level, no image is displayed.
