PURPOSE:To simplify mounting work and increase durability of waterproof seal by a method wherein a sliding retainer board is provided to engage the engaging section of a window frame waterproof seal and a glass-window waterproof seal with the sliding protuberance thereof and provide a blockading plate at an inserting section for the blockading plate. CONSTITUTION:The window frame waterproof seal 9 and the glass-window waterproof seal 10 are engaged with and fixed to a fixed side pillar 6 or a sliding side pillar 17. According to this method, works to peel protecting paper before engaging the waterproof seals 9, 10 are not necessary. Fixed protuberance retaining section 15 is provided on the fixed side pillar 6 while the sliding protuberance retaining section 21 is provided on the sliding side pillar 17 previously. Accordingly, engaging work may be simplified since they are engaged by pushing them forcibly from one end thereof and they will never be released by deteriorations themselves since no bonding agent is used for the work, therefore, waterproof performance having a high durability may be secured. Further, the waterproof seals 9, 10 are formed with protruded sections 24, therefore, engaging work may be facilitated. Furthermore, the waterproof seals 9, 10 are formed with abutting sections 25 for specifying the engaging direction thereof, therefore, engaging direction between them will never be mistaken. |
