PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a signal conversion circuit by converting a ternary signal into two binary signals by the signal conversion circuit consisting of a pnp TR, an npn TR and five resistors. CONSTITUTION:The potential of the bases 17, 18 of respective transistors (TR)10, 11 are constant voltages determined by resistors 14-16 and a power supply 5. A waveform F shows the example of the waveform of a ternary signal 1. A waveform G shows the waveform of an output voltage 2. If the potential of the bases 18, 17 of the TRs 10, 11 are selected properly as shown in the output waveform G, a signal conversion circuit from a ternary signal to a binary signal can be formed with sufficiently high characteristics by said constitution.
