The present invention relates to a box with removable bottom comprising a peripheral wall with projecting elements on its internal face near the lower edge so as to form a support for the plate 10 forming the bottom. According to the invention the peripheral wall consists of a semi-rigid surface 1 which has, along at least three parts of that one 5 of its edges which corresponds to the bottom, which parts will have a concave shape over at least part of their length in the finished container, a double-thickness strip 4 with, over the length of this strip, in line with the part having a concave shape, two fold starting lines 7 which preferably diverge from the edge of the bottom towards the inside of the box.
