PURPOSE:To provide a fuel cell having wide applications and low cost by highly active Cr2O8 as a hydrogen electrode catalyst. CONSTITUTION:In a hydrogen-oxygen solid electrolyte fuel cell, Cr2O8 powder is used as a hydrogen electrode catalyst. Because or poor electron cnductivity of Cr2O8, conductive material such as a flake graphite or active carbon powder is mixed to Cr2O8 to use as a catalyst for hydrogen electrode. This catalyst increases a maximum current density and has good catalytic activity. When photo sound spectrum strength is increased, catalytic activity is also increased. By using this hydrogen electrode catalyst, a fuel cell having high voltage and high current is provided. |
