The invention relates to a sweetened, stabilised milk product consisting of a sweetened yoghurt placed in a hermetically sealed pot and sterilised as a function of its pH and of the dimensions of the pot. This sterilisation is, for example, performed using heat, at a temperature of between approximately 65 and 85 DEG C and for a period of between 1/2 hour and 2 hours. The product thus obtained has a very long shelf life and excellent dietetic qualities.
