AIR CONVEYING METHOD OF GRANULES

PURPOSE:To reduce the friction on the pipe wall of bent pipe section by shrinking a pipe diameter at an inclination of 15 deg. or less on this side of the bent pipe section so as to make the average speed of the air flowing through a round pipe 25m/sec or more. CONSTITUTION:Granules are air-conveyed at an average speed of 25m/sec or less in a straight pipe section. From here, granules go through a contraction flow pipe 4 with its pipe diameter shrunk at an inclination of 15 deg. or less then are guided into a round pipe 5 with a cross-sectional area smaller than that of the original pneumatic pipe so that the average speed of the air flowing through the round pipe is made 25m/sec or more. After the average speed of the air flowing through the round pipe 5 is thus made 25m/sec or more, the round pipe 5 is connected to a bent pipe 6.
