PURPOSE:To simplify machining and assembling while to reduce vibration and noise by constructing the mechanism for producing pressure to be applied onto a power piston in a stirling engine in rolling piston type. CONSTITUTION:An eccentric section 32G is provided on a crank shaft 32 supported rotatably in the center of a tubular auxiliary cylinder 31 then a rolling cylinder 33 is fitted rotatably to construct a rolling piston 34. Vanes 37, 38 are inserted slidably into the vane grooves 35, 36 of said cylinder 31 to slide against thus to define high and low temperature spaces 59, 60 in said cylinder 31. Said spaces 59, 60 are communicated through a heat exchanger comprised of heaters 45, 46, coolers 47, 48 and regenerators 49, 50, while the low temperature space 60 is communicated with a space between main cylinder 55 and power piston 56 of reciprocal engine. |
