<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the temperature decrease, and prevent the lowering of the conversion efficiency of carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide gas, by furnishing an electrical heater to the outer circumference of a carbon monoxide converter, thereby replenishing the dissipated heat. CONSTITUTION:Butane preheated by the LPG preheater 5 is introduced together with preheated air into the reformer 3, and the cracked product is introduced through the air-preheater 6 into the carbon monoxide converter 1. Carbon monoxide is converted to carbon dioxide in the converter 1. The circumference of the carbon monoxide converter is wound with the heating cable 7, and the dissipated heat is compensated and the temperature decrease is prevented by passing electric current to the cable.</p> |
