Arrangement for optically matching an optical fibre (6) to a mating piece, having a mounting device for mounting an optical fibre support (8). In such an arrangement, the aim is to achieve as small as possible a misalignment of the optical fibre (6) during the curing of the mounting means (70). Serving to achieve this object is a chamber (7) which has on two mutually opposite side faces (71,72) openings (73,74), arranged aligned and centrally, for accommodating the optical fibre support (8) and at least one opening (77,78) for filling in a mounting means (70).
