PURPOSE:To obtain variation in the electrostatic capacity between a fixed and a movable electrode plate accurately by curving both electrode plates in the same breadthwise rectangle directions. CONSTITUTION:The fixed electrode 5' and movable electrode plate 6' are curved in the same breadthwise directions of rectangles. Then a body is placed on a rectangular upper counter pan 7 at a breadthwise end part and when an unloaded load (a) is placed, the upper counter pan 7 slants and a movable support plate to which the upper counter pan 7 is fitted also slants. Further, the movable electrode plate 6' fitted to the movable support plate also slants accordingly, but the movable electrode plate 6' moves within a range concentric with the fixed electrode plate 5' and only shifts in its position and its parallelism to the fixed electrode plate 5' is held constant. Therefore, even when the unloaded load (a) is applied, variation in the electrostatic capacity between both electrode plates 5' and 6' is obtained accurately.
