PURPOSE:To rotate a rotary shaft forwards and backward within the range of an arbitrary rotating angle by mounting a cam driver on the first and second cylinder mechanisms through the second and third coupling plates, and engaging the cam driver with a cam fixed to the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:The first cylinder mechanism 8 is disposed orthogonally to a rotary shaft 4, and the second cylinder mechanism 12 is coupled in parallel to the first cylinder mechanism 8 by the second coupling plate 11. A cam driver 19 is coupled to the second cylinder mechanism 12 by the third coupling plate 17, and the cam driver 19 is engaged with a cam 21 fixed to the shaft 4. In this arrangement, the rotary shaft 4 is rotated forwards and backwards within the range of an arbitrary rotating angle, and the rotary shaft 4 can be stopped at an arbitrary rotating angle with the range of the arbitrary rotating angle easily, reliably and smoothly.
