PURPOSE:To prevent wear of a transporting pipe and blocking of the pipe with solid material by providing at the destination a hydraulic hoist serving as decompression device in slurry transportation so as to facilitate adjustment of the flow rate. CONSTITUTION:A slurry mixing tank 20 is supplied with solid material by a belt conveyor and water through a make up pipe, which are made in slurry. The slurry is sent through a downwardly inclined transporting pipe 21 to a lower position of destination. The lower position at the extreme end of the transporting pipe 21 is provided with a hydraulic hoist, in which when, for example, switching valves 5-1 and 6-1 are open, a supply pipe 9-1 is filled with the slurry. At this time, fresh water in the supply pipe 9-1 is ejected through the switching valve 6-1 and a fresh water return pipe 13 into a fresh water tank. When the supply pipe 9-1 is completely filled with the slurry, the switching valves 5-1, 6-1 are closed. Then switching valves 7-1, 8-1 are opened, and in this condition, the slurry in the supply pipe 9-1 is externally ejected through an outlet pipe 22 by a fresh water low pressure pump 25. |
