Prolactin secretion stimulating agents including e.g. 1,10 min alpha beta - dimethyl-9,10-dihydro-ergocristine, Domperidone, Sulpiride, 2-mercaptoethanol, 2-hydroxyethyl 4-pyridylmethyl sulfide, 2,2 min -dithio-ethanol and S,S min -ethylene-bis-(2-dithioethanol); are useful as hair growth stimulating agents. This novel use as well as novel compositions comprising prolactin secretion stimulating agents for use in the stimulation of hair growth are described and claimed. |
