NEW MATERIAL:Human monocyte chemotactic factor (MCF) [molecular weight: 1,450-3,100 (measured by gel filtration with biogel column); the MCF is deactivated by treatment with tripsin but not affected by treatments with neuraminidase, ribonuclease, heat at 80 deg.C for 15min, freezing at -20 deg.C and thawing at room temperature, and has activity to allow human blood monocytes and guinea pig peritoneal exudate macrophage to wander]. USE:Curative for a variety of inflammations, cancers and grave infections. PREPARATION:MCF is obtained from the substance secreted by human T-cell strain, especially humn T-cell HPB-MLT, CCRF-HSB, MOLT-4, JURKAT or HPB-ALL.
