PURPOSE:To clean the minute metal grains by revolving a rotary vane at a high- speed and revolving the minute metal grains adhering onto the surface of the magnetic media at a high speed and pulverizing and stripping-off an impurity layer covering the minute metal grains and effectively separating the minute metal grains and the impurity layer by a magnetic force. CONSTITUTION:Minute metal grains are fed into a cylindrical accommodating container 1 equipped with a rotary vane 3 together with a number of magnetic media 4, and the rotary vane 3 is revolved at high speed. In the state where the minute metal grains are attached onto the surface of the media 4, the rotary vane is revolved at a high-speed, and the impurity layer covering the surface of the minute metal grains is pulverized and stripped-off. Then, cleaning liquid is supplied from a cleaning-liquid feeding port 5 in the lower part of the side wall of the container 1, and the rotary vane 3 is slowly revolved, allowing the cleaning liquid to overflow from an overflow port 6 in the upper part, and at the same time, an electromagnet 7 at the bottom part of the container 1 is excited, and the minute metal grain M is attracted into the lower part of the container 1 by the attraction force of the electromagnet 7. While, the non-magnetic impurities are pushed upward with the cleaning liquid without being influenced by the attraction force, and overflow from the overflow port 6. |
