PURPOSE:To suppress a quick pressure change in a transition period to stabilize cell performance by installing a pressure controller which relaxes variation in pressure difference between the fuel and oxidizing gas supply lines by movement of liquid between fuel gas supply equipment and oxidizing gas supply equipment. CONSTITUTION:A pressure control tank 13 has two spaces partitioned with a partition 14. Two spaces are connected with a liquid separator 15, and each space is connected to a fuel gas piping line 11 and an oxidizing gas piping line 12 respectively. The liquid separator 15 can be freely moved depending on pressure difference in both spaces to form a pressure controller. The pressure controller is inserted between a fuel gas supply inlet and an oxidizing gas supply inlet of a fuel cell comprising a cell main body 1, a manifold 2 and a container 3 in which they are accommodated and inactive gas is filled. Variation in pressure difference between both lines in a transition period is relaxed by responce of the pressure control tank 13. Therefore, reliability in operation is increased. |
