PURPOSE:To make it possible to simply and easily supply ink into a liquid jet recording head when said head is mounted, by pressurizing an ink tank by a simple pressurizing means when the head is mounted. CONSTITUTION:When an ink supply needle 104 is inserted into the ink supply port 105 of an ink tank 103 at the mounting time of a head 101, the ink supply port 105 is formed of a large number of disc shaped elastic members comprising rubber and, therefore, pushed in downwardly by the under surface of the head 101 and the volume of the ink tank 103 is reduced while the interior of the ink tank 103 is brought to a pressurized state. Therefore, the ink in the ink tank 103 is pressurized and supplied into the head through the ink supply needle 104 to fill the same. |
