PURPOSE:To shorten the manufacturing process, and to enhance productivity of a wound core by a method whrein actions to measure the peripheral length of an iron plate to be wound arond a winding shaft, to operate the winding angle of the winding shaft corresponding to the next winding length, to control the rotation of the winding shaft, and to cut the iron plate after the prescribed length is wound up are performed continuously. CONSTITUTION:When a winding shaft 23 is rotated by the prescribed winding angle, servomotors 24, 17 are stopped, the amount of one turn of the iron plate 1 is not wound on the whole periphery of the winding shaft 23, and a part thereof is left between the winding shaft 23 and a cutting blade 22. When cutting of the iron plate 1 is completed, the next winding angle is calculated. Rollers 16, 16a are rotated according to the servomotor 17 at the same time with the rotation of the servomotor 24, the iron plate 1 is wound around the winding shaft 23 so that the iron plate 1 is continuing although it is cut, and a wound core having the slipped position of a cut notch at every one turn can be manufactured. |
