PURPOSE:To provide a fluororubber compsn. having excellent heat resistance and high-temperature strength characteristics, consisting of a fluororubber, a specified polybutadiene polymer, a peroxide compd. and a crosslinking accelerator. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. fluororubber (e.g. a tetra-fluoroethylene/propylene copolymer), 0.5-20pts.wt. 1,2-polybutadiene polymer contg. at least 50wt% 1,2- bonded butadiene, 0.1-15pts.wt. peroxide compd. [e.g. alpha,alpha'-bis(t-butylperoxyisopropyl)benzene], 0.5-15pts.wt. crosslinking accelerator composed of a polyfunctional compd. (e.g. triallyl isocyanurate) and optionally additives such as carbon black, pigment, lubricant, stabilizer, etc. are kneaded together at 40-120 deg.C for 5-40min. |
