PURPOSE:To make it possible to select a vibrating body having effective mechamical characteristics without limitation on the quality of the vibrating body, by offsetting the potential, which is generated by the product of the electric resistance of the vibrating body and an exciting current, by a potential obtained by dividing the exciting voltage. CONSTITUTION:A vibrating chord 2 is arranged in a magnetic filed 1. The electromotive force generated by the vibration of the vibrating chord 2 is amplified by an amplifier 3 and fed back to the vibrating chord 2 through a resistor 4. The exciting current flows through two circuits of the vibrating chord 2 and a resistor 5 and resistors 6 and 6. The amplifier acts as a differential amplifier, which amplifies the potential difference voltage between the connecting point of the vibrating chord 2 and the resistor 5 and the connecting point of the resistor 6 and the resistor 7. Thus the potential, which is not related to the electromotive force generated by the vibration of the vibrating chord 2, is offset.
