PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for adjustment such as alignment of optical axes or the like and to provide high mass productivity and high performance by joining integrally the 2nd lens consisting of a synthetic resin to the 1st lens consisting of glass. CONSTITUTION:A silicone cushion material is coated in the recess 12 of one die 10 and thereafter the 1st lens 2 is attached into the recess. A vacuum pump, (not shown in the figure) is operated to fix the 1st lens 2. The other die 11 is closed and a molten resin of, for example, polymethyl methacrylate is poured through a sprue 17 and a runner 18 into the cavity. A hybrid lens 1 is obtd. after prescribed cooling time. A cylindrical body 6 enclosing the rim face 4 of the 1st lens 2 is integrally formed to the 2nd lens 3. |
