PURPOSE:To form a heat resistant and oxidation inhibiting Ni plating by electroless plating at a low cost by dissolving yttrium nitrate in a plating soln. contg. sodium hypophosphite, etc., so as to deposit Y together with Ni. CONSTITUTION:Yttrium nitrate is dissolved in an Ni or Ni alloy electroplating soln. or an electroless Ni or Ni alloy plating soln. contg. sodium hypophosphite, a borohydride compound and hydrazine so as to deposit Y together with Ni, Heat resistant and oxidation inhibiting Ni plating used in an atmosphere contg. oxygen at high temp. is formed at the reduced cost of the treatment of waste liquor in safety to the human body while inexpensive starting materials are used. |
