<p>A manual sowing appliance comprises a bucket wheel 132 which is driven, directly or through a reduction gear, by a wheel disk 116. The bucket wheel 132 conveys seed corn from a storage chamber over a number of pockets which are arranged to form a delivery station. The appliance possesses several bucket wheels which can be secured, via a bayonet lock, on a carrier drum 72. Bucket wheels which are not being driven can be stored in a recipient part 104. An elastic scraper is located at the outlet end of the storage chamber and prevents the bucket wheels from jamming, with grains which are too large, or which are present in too great a quantity, in a pocket being scraped off when grains which only project a short distance are able to pass through. This results in a manual sowing appliance which is cheap and simple to manufacture and which is reliable in operation. <IMAGE></p> |
