PURPOSE:To reduce production cost and improve production efficiency by forming a pair of projecting pieces which hold the frame of a compressor body on the both sides in the axial direction of a casing, integrally with a plate-shaped basic body, and reducing the number of parts in comparison with the conventional apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 31 is welded onto one cylindrical element 21a of a casing 21, with the upwardly projecting piece 31b set on the same plane to a plate-shaped basic body 31a and with the downwardly projecting piece 31c in bent state. Then, a compressor body 22 is inserted into the cylindrical element 21a from the opened edge side. In the state where the flange part 23a of a frame 23 is arranged onto the downwardly projecting piece 31c of a stopper 31, the upwardly projecting piece 31b is cut and erected into the casing 21. Then, one cylindrical element 21b is joined with the other cylindrical element 21a, and a sealed casing 21 in the state where the compressor body 22 is accommodated inside can be formed. With such constitution, the number of parts can be reduced half in comparison with the conventional apparatus in which each projecting piece is installed individually. Therefore, production cost can be reduced, and also production efficiency can be improved.
