摘要 PURPOSE:To control the parking brake control force properly with correspondence to the inclination angle of slope by operating the optimal braking force necessary for stopping the car in accordance with an inclination angle signal from inclination angle detecting means and producing the brake force with correspondence to said operated value. CONSTITUTION:Under stoppage of car, a microcomputer 39 will detect stoppage of car on the basis of a car speed signal from a car speed sensor 35 to change over solenoid values 27 and 24. Consequently, the piping P5 is blocked from the atmospheric air while the pipings P2 and P3 are communicated to feed the air pressure to the cylinder 25. Then a piston 25c will function to separate the click of release lever 14 from the tooth section 12a of a bracket 12, and the microcomputer 39 will changeover a solenoid valve 26 on the basis of an inclination signal from an inclination sensor 36 to feed the air pressure to a cylinder 28. Consequently, the piston 28c will function to operate the parking brake 10. Here, the microcomputer 39 will control the solenoid valve 26 to produce the braking force corresponding with the inclination angle on the basis of pressure signals from pressure sensors 33, 34 thus to regulate the pressure in the chamber 28a.
