PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of mixed gas into brake force multiplier by communicating between an engine intake tube and the multiplier through a check valve while placing a chamber having cross-section larger than the opening area of path in the path between check valve and the intake tube. CONSTITUTION:The intake tube 2 of engine 4 and the brake force multiplier 8 are coupled through a negative pressure path 6 having a check valve 10. A chamber 12 having larger cross-section than the opening area of path 6 is provided in the path 6 between the intake tube 2 and check valve 10. Said chamber will reduce the pressure of mixture gas in the intake tube 2 flowed into the negative pressure path 6. Consequently, the amount of mixture gas intruding into the check valve 10 and the brake force multiplier 8 is reduced. |
