PURPOSE:To increase accuracy of injection, by indirectly controlling a plunger, controlling injection of high pressure fuel from a fuel injection nozzle, with a servo piston in larger diameter and solenoid valve driving the piston. CONSTITUTION:A servo piston 60 in large diameter forming a servo piston chamber 76 is slidably arranged in the upper part of a nozzle valve 32 of a pump nozzle X. A flow inlet 77 and flow outlet 87 are opened to the chamber 76, and fuel from a feed fuel pump Y is partially introduced to the flow inlet 77 to press the piston 60. Further a conical valve 61 is arranged at a face-to-face position to the flow inlet 77 to control fed fuel. A conical valve chamber 84 communicated through a fuel introduction port 139 is formed in the valve 61, further a solenoid valve 111 operated by receiving a signal of a controller 20 is arranged in the introduction port 139. Then fuel fed into the chamber 84 is controlled, and vertical movement of the valve 61 is controlled. |
