<p>PURPOSE:To make up a circuit in the formation of IC to advantage in particular by a method in which the drive controller of heating elements is made into an integrated circuit system, and the heating elements are electrically energized by driving the IC to enable a thermal recording head to be driven with high speeds. CONSTITUTION:Switch elements Q1, Q2,..., Q8... consisting of transistors are provided to the supply line of each drive power source VP for heating elements H1, H2,..., H8... of one line. One-pit shift registers SR1, SR2,..., SR8... for controlling the make and break of the switch elements are provided for every switch element Q. The ones corresponding to odd numbers and also to even numbers among the shift registers SR are continuously connected in such a way that input picture information DATA sent from outside according to clock signals CLOCK1 and CLOCK2 of separate system is divided into two systems, stored, and transferred in order.</p> |
