PURPOSE:To facilitate movement, installation and adjustment and to make the attenuator compact, by using a laser-light absorbing body as a rotary body having an opening part, and attaching cooling fins to a part of the rotary body. CONSTITUTION:Laser light 4 is inputted into a rotary body 1 having an opening part (not shown). The rotary body 1 is rotated by a motor 2. When the opening part is aligned with a laser light path, the laser light passes through the opening part. Attenuated laser light 6 is utilized for, e.g., a monitor. The rotary body is constituted by an absorbing body, which absorbs the laser light. Cooling fins 7 are attached to a part of the rotary body. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide an absorbing body separately. Since absorbed heat can be radiated through the cooling fins, the attenuator can be made compact. |
